Yael Erel and Avner Ben-Natan

Yael Erel and Avner Ben-Natan are award winning light artists and co-founders of lightexture lighting practice. They are an architect and lighting designer collaborating to construct playful and sensual light environments and fixtures.

Erel is a registered architect, and an assistant professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her research studies the construction of temporal light-drawings through reflection.

Ben-Natan has been working with light as material since the early 90's as a professional lighting designer in films and television. He is a multimedia artist, musician and writer.
