Victoria Brooks & Nikos Papastergiadis

In the context of A Visibility Matrix, the large-scale video work initiated by Sven Anderson and Gerard Byrne in Gallery 1, we're delighted to welcome Victoria Brooks and Professor Nikos Papastergiadis to talk on their current research around visibility.

Brooks will focus on the visibility and invisibility of the production infrastructure of film in a talk titled 'Spike and Protocol: the production of time-based art', while Dr Papastergiadis will talk on 'Ambient Aesthetics and the Blur'. The event will be chaired by Dr Maeve Connolly and there will be time for questions and discussion following the talks.
